Antique Telegraph Pole Sculpture

This piece of antique telegraph pole was partially buried under pine needles in the tree cut line of our property. (After we found this piece, we looked for and found other poles and pieces.) The pole fragment was carefully cleaned and coated with multiple layers of protective coating to preserve the delicate aged wood.

While a fascinating piece of history, it is an equally aesthetic piece of art. With it’s textured wood, many angles and naturally shaped form from years in the elements; this piece generates interest and conversation.
